[약속의 종류] That's an interesting topic to discuss. I typically make appointments to hang out with my friends and others, often make appointments to play sports, go snowboarding, or go hiking and so on. 

[약속 만드는 방법] In most cases, I make those appointments without any specific plans. I tend to be quite energetic and spontaneous in this point, which means I enjoy making appointments without any specific discussions. That's my preferred way. Speaking of the specific way to make appointments, I usually start by sending a message to my friend to initiate a casual conversation. During our chat, I introduce the activity or idea I have in mind. If my friend expresses agreement or interest in the idea, we then solidify our plans.

Tell me about one experience when you had to cancel an appointment you made. What happened? Why did you have to cancel the appointment and how deal with it? Give as many details as you can.

I'd like to share an experience from my college days. It happened during summer vacation when I was in the philippines, interning at a company owned by someone I knew. At the time, I was quite extroverted and had many friends. One day, I made plans with some friends to visit an amusement park, and i was genuinely excited about it. However, the day after we made these plans, I received a call from my mother, bearing the sad news that my grandmother had passed away. It was a shocking moment, and without hesitation, I booked a flight back to Korea to be with my family during this difficult time. After coming back to Korea, I suddenly remembered the amusement park appointment scheduled for the following week. I immediately reached out to all my friends, one by one, to explain the situation I had faced and to apologize for canceling our plans.  Fortunately, they were all understanding and forgiving, recognizing the urgency of the situation. This experience remains one of the most memorable moments in my life when it comes to canceling commitments.

Sure. Let me think for a moment. The most recent appointment I arranged was about two weeks ago when I planned a hiking trip with my college roommate. We both are students at the same college, and we chose to explore a famous mountain in Beijing known as "Xiangshan". This mountain is particularly famous during the autumn season due to its breathtaking landscapes with vibrant red and yellow leaves. So, We climbed the mountain, bringing along a packed lunch to enjoy at the summit. After four hours of climbing, we reached the mountain's peak and were greeted by the stunning landscape of colorful foliage. it was exceptionally colorful. So, after having a satisfying lunch at the summit, we made our way back to the downtown area. By this point, we were quite exhausted, so we decided to visit a sauna to relieve the stresses of the day. After a relaxing session, we concluded our trip with a delightful dinner before heading back home.
